Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Todd Harbach of Iowa Ortho

Todd J. Harbach, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon, serving at Iowa Ortho’s locations in Des Moines, Ankeny and Pleasant Hill.

Prior to his work at Iowa Ortho, Dr. Harbach was a flight surgeon in the U.S. Navy. He also served as the first medical director at Spine Center for St. John’s Health System in Missouri.

 

Dr. Harbach specializes in neck and spine.

 

After receiving his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, Dr. Harbach completed an internship and residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va. He then did a fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
