Her specialties include minimally invasive and open surgery for degenerative spine disorders, adult and pediatric spine deformities, and spinal infections and tumors, according to NYU Langone’s website. She won the North American Spine Society’s Value Abstract Award for her work in spinal deformity and was nominated for the Scoliosis Research Society’s Hibbs Award.
Dr. Raman was recently listed on SpineLine’s “20 Under 40” list for 2020. Recently, NYU Langone opened its first outpatient orthopedic practice in the city’s Staten Island borough, where she will provide spine care.
