Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Thomas Kleeman of New Hampshire NeuroSpine Institute

Thomas Kleeman, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon who works for the New Hampshire NeuroSpine Institute of Bedford, N.H.

Dr. Kleeman is known internationally for his pioneering work on laparoscopic spine surgery. He developed the port-hole technique for spinal stenosis.

After Dr. Kleeman obtained his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine, in New Haven, Conn., he completed his internship and residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, in Connecticut. He then had a fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Maryland Medical System.

 

Dr. Kleeman is affiliated with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society and the New England Spine Study Group. He has had several papers published in reputable journals.
