During his career, Dr. Daftari has been interested in technology and was among the first surgeons to use the Charite artificial disc for his patients. “There is now a way to restore functions, improve outcomes and preserve motion that was not previously available,” Dr. Daftari said in a report for The Marietta Daily Journal.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Daftari is a member of the North American Spine Society, Atlanta Orthopaedic Society and American Medical Association. In 2011, he was named among the top physicians in orthopedic surgery by the U.S. News & World Report.
Dr. Daftari earned his medical degree at Northwestern University in Chicago and completed his residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. His additional training includes a fellowship in spine surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Mich.
