Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Stuart Rice of Black Hills Neurosurgery & Spine

Board-certified Stuart G. Rice, MD, serves as a neurosurgeon with Black Hills Neurosurgery & Spine in Rapid City, S.D. He is also a clinical assistant professor with the University of South Dakota School of Medicine.

Specializing in spine surgery, Dr. Rice focuses on spine trauma management and spinal disorders. A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Rice is also a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, North American Spine Society and American Medical Association.

 

After graduating from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Dr. Rice completed a general surgery internship and a neurosurgery residency at the same institution.
