Dr. Theiss is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the North American Spine Society, Mid America Orthopaedic Association and American Spinal Injury Association. He also serves on the faculty of AO North America Spine.
Dr. Theiss is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and focuses on diseases of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. His clinical interests include spinal fractures, spinal fusion and spinal stenosis.
Dr. Theiss earned his medical degree at Northwestern University in Chicago, and he completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He has also completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Minnesota Spine Center in Minneapolis.
