Dr. Mather’s clinical interests include microsurgery and cervical, thoracic and lumbar surgery as well as minimally invasive surgery and revision surgery. His hospital affiliations include Adventist Hinsdale (Ill.) Hospital, Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove and Elmhurst (Ill.) Memorial Hospital.
“My approach is simple, placing myself in the position of the patient,” Dr. Mather says, according to the DuPage Medical Group website. “I believe in taking pride in my work both in the office and operating room to get those good results.”
Dr. Mather earned his medical degree at Chicago-based University of Illinois School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic residency at Phoenix-based Maricopa County Hospital as well as a spine surgery fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
