Dr. Mardjetko is a member of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, Scoliosis Research Society and Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. He also serves on the editorial advisory board of The Spine Journal.
Dr. Mardjetko is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and his clinical interests include back surgery, cervical herniated discs, cervical spine diseases, lumbar degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, spinal cord injuries and lumbar spinal stenosis.
Dr. Mardjetko earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago, where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. He has completed two fellowships both at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. One of the fellowships was in pediatric orthopedics and the other was in spinal deformity and reconstruction.
