Dr. Cyr is a renowned spine surgeon.
His career began after he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He served his country through the U.S. Air Force and completed a transitional internship and his residency at the Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio. He then completed a fellowship in spine surgery at the Minneapolis-based Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Cyr moved back to San Antonio to serve as the Chief of Air Force Spine Surgery and as a consultant to the Surgeon General of the Air Force.
He completed two tours in Iraq before opening the Orthopaedic & Spine Institute.
Dr. Cyr is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
