Dr. de Vere specializes in the treatment of lumbar and cervical disc herniation, thoracic spinal stenosis, spinal deformity and revision spinal operations among other spine conditions.
She earned her medical degree at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada, and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
Following residency, Dr. de Vere completed a complex spine fellowship at the University of Toronto in Ontario and another at the University of Ottawa in Ontario, focusing on the management of spine trauma, oncology, deformity and degenerative diseases.
