Dr. Lavoie received his medical degree from the Université Laval Faculty of Medicine in Quebec City, Canada, and completed his residency at the University of Montreal in Quebec, Canada. He underwent spine surgery fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
He is one of the first fellowship-trained spine surgeon in the Sanford, Fla., and West Volusia, Fla., area. Dr. Lavoie is affiliated with Sanford-based Central Florida Regional Hospital and speaks English and French.
