Dr Jones’ clinical interests are wide ranging and include minimally invasive percutaneous lumbar discectomies, lumbar laminotomies/laminectomies, minimally invasive lumbar stabilizations and non-instrumented lumbar fusions. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Medical Association and North American Spine Association.
Dr. Jones also has a professional interest in biologic and stem cell treatments. He earned national recognition for performing spine surgery using stem cells on Texas Governor and former Republican candidate for the presidential nomination Rick Perry.
Dr. Jones earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He has also completed a fellowship at Wellseley Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
