Dr. Sriharan received his medical degree from Dublin, Ireland-based Royal College of Surgeons and underwent complex spine surgery fellowship training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He treats brain and spinal disorders such as hydrocephalus, spinal tumors, degenerative spinal disorders and spine injuries.
He has received the J.J. Fitzsimmons Gold Medal in Surgery, Sir William Wheeler Memorial Medal in Surgery and McDonnell Prize in Surgery. Dr. Sriharan’s research involves the use of viral vectors in the transfer of various genes into human brain tumors.
