He treats adults with spinal conditions and integrates disciplines including acupuncture and yoga to help patients recover. He takes a “less is more” approach to treatment and provides patients with non-surgical treatment options.
Dr. Hasan has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, abstracts and textbooks. His research has focused on motion preservation and minimally invasive spine surgery techniques.
Dr. Hasan completed his residency at New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City and did fellowship training for combined orthopedic and neurological spine surgery at Los Angeles-based Cedars Sinai Medical Center. At the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, he completed advanced training in minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery.
