Dr. Schnetzer, of Macon-based OrthoGeorgia, has a special interest in treating mechanical and neurological disorders of the spine, disc replacement, spine deformity and instability. He’s certified in minimally invasive robot-assisted surgical techniques.
He received his medical degree at Augusta University Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville.
Dr. Schnetzer was also a college athlete. He went to Athens-based University of Georgia and was a 2001 walk-on for the Georgia Bulldogs football team. He was a member of the 2005 SEC championship team and was named on UGA’s 40 under 40 Alumni list in 2019.
