He specializes in minimally invasive surgery and conducts artificial disc replacement for the lower back and neck. Dr. Tatsumi utilizes the Aspen minimally invasive fusion system and also provides disc arthroplasty care.
He was named to Portland Business Journal‘s “40 under 40” in 2014 and serves as a faculty member of Society of Lateral Access Surgery.
Dr. Tatsumi obtained his medical degree and completed his residency at Portland-based Oregon Health & Sciences University. He then went on to complete his spine fellowship at the Los Angeles Spine Institute.
