Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Robert Roach of Metropolitan Neurosurgery

Robert M. Roach, MD, is a neurosurgeon at Metropolitan Neurosurgery in Coon Rapids, Minn. He specializes in spinal and cranial trauma, brain tumors, spinal degenerative conditions, lumbar and cervical disc surgery, peripheral nerve surgery and vascular neurosurgery involving treatment of abnormalities of the cerebral vasculature.

Dr. Roach earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed his residency at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City.

 

Dr. Roach was first listed as a Top Neurosurgeon by MSP Magazine in 1999 and continues to receive that honor every year for the past decade. He is a member of the Minnesota State Trauma Advisory Council, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Minnesota Neurological Society.
