Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Robert Jacobson of Miami Neurosurgical Institute

Robert Jacobson, MD, is a spine surgeon at the Miami Neurosurgical Institute. Recently, Dr. Jacobson joined Larkin Community Hospital South Miami’s pain management fellowship.

Dr. Jacobson subspecializes in brain tumors and stereotactic radiosurgery. Previously, Dr. Jacobson served as a medical officer in the U.S. Army.

 

With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Jacobson has also served as an assistant professor at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Medical Center.

 

After earning his medical degree from the Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Dr. Jacobson completed his residencies at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y., and University of Miami Hospitals. Dr. Jacobson is also fellowship trained from the Kantonsspital Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland.
