Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Robert Funk of Indiana Spine Group

Robert Funk, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at Indiana Spine Group in Indianapolis.

Dr. Funk is a minimally invasive spine specialist. His focus is on advanced nonoperative interventional techniques of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Additionally he is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He has special interests in neuromodulation, spinal cord stimulation and spinal facet disease. 

 

Dr. Funk received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and a pain medicine fellowship at the University of Michigan. 

 

Dr. Funk has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. He has also presented at several conferences on a variety of spinal topics.
