Dr. Sasso is a founding member and the president of Indiana Spine Group. He also serves as the chief of spine surgery and as a professor at the Indianapolis-based Indiana University School of Medicine.
He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and underwent spine surgery fellowship training at Chicago-based Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Houston-based Baylor College of Medicine.
His research has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed scientific publications. Dr. Sasso is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Cervical Spine Research Society and Spine Arthroplasty Society, among other professional organizations.
