Richard Spiro, MD, is a spine surgeon at the Pennsylvania Brain and Spine Institute in Pittsburgh.

Board certified in neurological surgery, Dr. Spiro’s interests include spinal abnormalities, oncology, spinal tumors, revision spinal surgery, complex spine, peripheral nerve surgery and ulnar surgery.

 

Dr. Spiro is a member of the American Medical Association, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and North American Spine Society.

 

After earning his medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Dr. Spiro completed his residency in neurosurgery and fellowship in complex spinal surgery at the University of Pittsburgh.
