Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Richard Kube of Prairie Spine & Pain Institute

Richard Kube, MD, is a spine surgeon and founder of the Prairie Spine and Pain Institute in Peoria, Ill.

Board certified in orthopedic and spine surgery, Dr. Kube has served on various committees for North American Spine Society and International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.

 

Dr. Kube is currently the treasurer and a member of the board of directors for the American Board of Spine Surgery. He is also the advisor to Twisted Sun Innovations, a hydrogen energy company working on renewable energy solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense.

 

After earning his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Kube completed his residency at St. Louis University Hospital. Dr. Kube is also fellowship trained from Spine Surgery PSC in Louisville, Ky.
