Dr. Kuo focuses on minimally invasive spinal surgery; scoliosis and spinal deformity; cervical decompression and fusion; anterior and posterior lumbar decompression and lumbar fusion. She has an active interest in research. She has previously examined the efficacy of postoperative continuous local anesthetic infusion at the iliac bone graft site after spinal athrodesis.
Dr. Kuo earned her medical degree at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where she also completed her residency. She has completed a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She completed her law degree at Chicago-Kent College of Law and has honors in medical ethics and law. She also earned a highest grade award in comparative law.
