Previously, Dr. Porter served as a clinical and research fellow in cerebrovascular and skull base neurosurgery and complex spine surgery at the Barrow Neurological Institute. He is CyberKnife trained from the University of Pittsburgh.
Board certified in neurosurgery, Dr. Porter is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Arizona Neurosurgical Society, Congress of Neurological Surgeons and North American Spine Society.
Dr. Porter earned his medical degree from Chicago-based Rush Medical College. He went on to complete his residency and fellowship training at the Barrow Neurological Institute.
