Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Pierce Nunley of Spine Institute of Louisiana

Orthopedic spine surgeon Pierce Nunley, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Board of Spine Surgery. A fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Nunley is also a part of North American Spine Society and American College of Spine Surgery.

Specializing in treating back and neck pain, Dr. Nunley also serves on the board of the Spine Institute of Louisiana Foundation, Musculoskeletal Institute of Louisiana and Syndicom.

 

Dr. Nunley received his medical degree from University of Kansas Medical College in Kansas City, Mo., and completed an internship and residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He then completed a spine fellowship at the University of Basel in Switzerland and at the Dallas Spine Group.
