Dr. Angevine is an associate neurosurgery professor at New York City-based Columbia University Medical Center. His interests include adult and pediatric spinal deformities, neuromuscular spinal deformities, complex revision spinal surgery and global and regional sagittal imbalance.
He received his medical degree from New York City-based Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his neurosurgery residency at The Neurological Institute of New York in New York City. Dr. Angevine underwent orthopedic spine surgery fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Angevine’s research has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed scientific journals. He serves as an associate editor of Neurosurgery. He is a member of the North American Spine Society, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Medical Society of the State of New York, among other professional organizations.
