Dr. Moazzaz focuses on orthopedic spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery and spinal deformity. He has won numerous awards during his career, including UC Davis Ernest M. Gold Award for Excellence, Paul Lipscomb Award for Excellence in Orthopaedics and University of Texas Center on Aging Research Award.
Dr. Moazzaz has published a wide array of articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at more than 20 national and international meetings. He also serves as a key investigator in many ongoing clinical trials.
Dr. Moazzaz earned his medical degree at University of California, Davis School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at University of California, Los Angeles. He has also completed a fellowship in spine surgery at the San Diego Center for Spinal Disorders and Scripps Green Clinic in La Jolla, Calif.
