He has researched less invasive lateral approaches to thoracic and lumbar spine for spinal deformity. Dr. Stanton specializes in cervical and lumbar spine surgery, minimally invasive spine reconstruction, adult spinal deformity, spine oncology and spine trauma.
After obtaining his medical degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Dr. Stanton completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at Memorial Hospital of York (Pa.). He then completed a spine fellowship at San Diego Spine.
