Dr. Slosar has won numerous awards over the course of his career, including the Outstanding Poster Award from the North American Spine Society. He has an active interest in research, particularly in the areas of minimally invasive surgical techniques, spinal motion-preservation technology and implant surface technologies. He serves as the CMO of spine device company Titan Spine.
Dr. Slosar’s work has been published in a number of professional journals, including Contemporary Orthopaedics, Spine and The Spine Journal. He is an editorial board member for Spine and The Spinal Research Foundation Journal. Additionally, he serves as an oral board examiner for both the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and American Board of Spine Surgery.
Dr. Slosar earned his medical degree at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill. He has also completed a spine fellowship at The San Francisco Spine Institute and SpineCare Medical Group.
