Dr. Kraemer is interested in scoliosis, revision surgery and minimally invasive techniques. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, and underwent combined orthopedic and neurosurgical spine surgery fellowship training at the Seattle-based University of Washington’s Harborview Medical Center.
Dr. Kraemer currently serves as the spine surgery fellowship director at Indianapolis-based Indiana University. He is also an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at IU. Dr. Kraemer is a member of the Lumbar Spine Research Society, the North American Spine Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, among other professional organizations.
He has presented his research both nationally and internationally. Dr. Kraemer is also affiliated with several Indiana hospitals. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and the outdoors.
