Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Paul Canale of the Canale Spine Institute

Paul Canale, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon and medical director of the Canale Spine Institute in Daphne, Ala.

Dr. Canale received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Ill. He underwent complex lower extremity fellowship training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and spine surgery fellowship training at the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Dr. Canale also holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering, both from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He performs complex spine surgery.
