Additionally, Dr. White serves on the board of councilors for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the North American Spine Society, Knoxville Orthopedic Society and Tennessee Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. White previously served as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
After earning his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Dr. White completed his residency at the North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Dr. White underwent fellowship training at Rothman Institute and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, both in Philadelphia.
