Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Nima Salari of Desert Institute for Spine Care

Board-certified Nima Salari, MD, serves patients at Desert Institute for Spine Care in Phoenix.

Dr. Salari specializes in degenerative disc diseases, scoliosis, infections and tumors. He performs minimally invasive procedures and tissue sparing approaches using image-guided technologies. Dr. Salari has participated in orthopedic research projects focused on the musculoskeletal system.

 

A member of the North American Spine Society, Dr. Salari is also affiliated with the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

After obtaining his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Salari completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He then completed his spine surgery fellowship at Stanford (Calif.) University.
