Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Neil O’Malley of Parkway Surgery Center

Neil O’Malley, MD, is a spine neurosurgeon with Parkway Surgery Center in Hagerstown, Md.

Dr. O’Malley’s interests include complex cervical and lumbar spine surgery. He has experience and training in spinal cord injury and fractures from trauma and tumors, as well as training in minimally invasive spinal fusion surgery and discectomies.

 

Dr. O’Malley earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio, completed his residency at Yale Hospital and St. Raphael’s Hospital in Connecticut, and trained in neurosurgery at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, the largest spinal cord injury center in the United States.

 

Dr. O’Malley has been recognized as a Washington County Hospital Doctor of the Year three times.
