He focuses on surgical solutions for movement disorders and is interested in how the brain and spinal cord work, according to Duke University Health’s website. His research also focuses on movement and pain disorders.
Dr. Lad received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School-Rosalind Franklin University. He completed residencies in neurosurgery and general surgery at Stanford (Calif.) University Medical Center.
