He is a member of the Academy of Medical Educators at UCSF as well as a member of the Scoliosis Research Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Diab’s clinical interests include treating spinal deformity in children, including scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis. He has given national and international presentations and has published a book on medical language called “Lexicon of Orthopaedic Etymology.”
He earned his medical degree at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif. He has completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Harvard University in Boston.
