Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Michael Roh of Rockford Spine Center

Michael Roh, MD, co-founded Rockford (Ill.) Spine Center. He is affiliated with OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford Memorial Hospital and Swedish American Hospital, all located in Rockford, Ill.

Specializing in cervical spine surgery, Dr. Roh has expertise in deformity surgery and advanced minimally-invasive techniques. He served on the team for the Prestige Cervical Disc, a device that helps with neck motion for patients with radiculopathy and myelopathy.

 

Dr. Roh is a clinical assistant professor at University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford, Ill.

 

After receiving his medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, R.I., Dr. Roh completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Columbia University in New York City. He then did a fellowship in spinal surgery at Washington University in St. Louis.
