Michael L. Mumert, MD, is a neurosurgeon with Springfield (Mo.) Neurological and Spine Institute.

Dr. Mumert’s career began after he earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas in Lawrence. He completed a residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and a fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
