Board certified in orthopedic and spine surgery, Dr. Janssen is the founding board member of AOSpine International. He is a recipient of the Inaugural German Ochoa Traveling Fellowship Award.
Dr. Janssen has performed more than 1,000 complex total disc replacement surgeries and trained more than 150 surgeons in complex total disc replacement. He has had his research published in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
After earning his medical degree from Kansas City (Mo.) University School of Medicine and Biosciences, Dr. Janssen completed his residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Janssen is also fellowship trained from Kantonsspital St. Gallen in Switzerland and Lakewood (Colo.) Orthopedic Clinic.
