Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Michael Dolphin of Orthopaedic Specialists in Iowa

The head of Orthopaedic Specialist’s Spine Center in Davenport, Iowa, Michael Dolphin, DO, performs outpatient spine surgery. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Dolphin specializes in the back and neck disorders and degenerative conditions. He performs microdiscectomy and cervical fusions.

 

A member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Dolphin also is a part of the North American Spine Society and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, among other organizations.

 

After receiving his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, N.Y., Dr. Dolphin completed an internship at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pa. He then did a residency at Memorial Hospital in York, Pa., and a fellowship in spine surgery at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.
