Dr. Gerlach is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. His clinical interests include disc herniation, sciatica, osteoporotic compression fractures, scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease and failed back surgery syndrome. He has a professional interest in minimally invasive treatments of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
Dr. Gerlach earned his medical degree at University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and he has completed a fellowship in adult and pediatric spine surgery at Rocky Mountain Spine Clinic in Lone Tree, Colo.
