In addition to Neuromicrospine, Dr. Giovanini is on staff at Gulf Breeze Hospitals, the Andrews Institute, West Florida Hospital and Sandestin Executive Health and Wellness.
Dr. Giovanini’s focus is in orthopedics and minimally invasive spinal surgery.
Over the last 18 months, Dr. Giovanini has performed 193 major spine cases and 665 pain cases through his ASC.
Dr. Giovanini received his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University. He had a neurosurgical residency at the University of Florida’s Shands Hospital, and a research fellowship with the American Heart Association.
During his residency, Dr. Giovanini developed models for spinal cord injuries which led “to the first spinal cord transplant in humans.” Dr. Giovanini has published several journal articles on spinal cord injury and neural transplantation.
Outside of his career, Dr. Giovanini is an avid surfer and guitar player.
