Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Leonard K. Kibuule of Spine Team Texas

Leonard K. Kibuule, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon at Spine Team Texas in Allen.

Specializing in spinal injuries and disorders, Dr. Kibuule performs minimally invasive surgery and treats adult scoliosis. He has researched low back pain in adolescents, lumbar spinal stenosis, cervical disc arthroplasty and surgical approaches to the thoracic spine.

 

D Magazine named him to its “Best Doctors” list in orthopedic surgery.

 

After receiving his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Dr. Kibuule completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Nebraska/Creighton University in Omaha. He then completed an orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.
