With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Von Rueden is a spinal consultant to the University of Texas in Austin. He is also on The Spine Journal’s editorial staff for.
Dr. Von Rueden is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Texas Spine Society, Texas Orthopaedic Association, Scoliosis Research Society, North American Spine Society and American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, Dr. Von Rueden completed his residency at Chicago-based Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center. Dr. Von Rueden is also fellowship trained from Denver Children’s Hospital.
