Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Kevin Cahill of Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine

Kevin S. Cahill, MD, PhD, is a spine surgeon at Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Associates in North Carolina. He serves patients at the Ballantyne and Charlotte offices.

Specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery and spinal fusion, Dr. Cahill performs minimally invasive and complex spine deformity surgery, revision spine surgery and spine tumor surgery.

 

After earning his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Dr. Cahill completed an internship and residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, both in Boston. He then completed a complex and minimally invasive spine surgery fellowship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

 

Dr. Cahill also received a Doctorate in molecular genetics and microbiology from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville and a Masters of Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health in Boston.
