Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Julie Long of Northern California Spine Institute

Julie A. Long, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon in Pleasanton, Calif.

She specializes in spinal reconstructive surgery as well as scoliosis and spinal deformity. Dr. Long performs cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine surgery, revision surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery.

 

Dr. Long has presented at Cervical Spine Research Society and North American Spine Society meetings.

 

Dr. Long obtained her medical degree from University of California – San Diego. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics and her spine surgery fellowship at Twin Cities Spine Center, both in Minneapolis.
