Dr. Kouri specializes in brain and spine surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, where he was one of only two students to graduate with distinction in both academics and research. He underwent surgical neuro-oncology fellowship training at Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.
He is affiliated with several southern Florida hospitals and uses minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Kouri’s research has been published in several peer-reviewed scientific journals, including the Lancet and Journal of Neurosurgery.
