Dr. Dorman performs spinal and cranial surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. As a second-year medical student, he received a National Institutes of Health grant for his research.
Dr. Dorman has privileges at Midland (Texas) Memorial Hospital and The Texas Surgical Center in Midland as well as Medical Center Hospital and Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa. He has previously served as the chairman of the surgery department and chief of staff at Midland Memorial Hospital.
He published scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and holds several patents for surgical devices. In his spare time, Dr. Dorman enjoys playing the drums, programming and traveling.
