Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. John France of WVU Medicine

John France, MD, is the chief of spine surgery at West Virginia University Medicine.

Dr. France specializes in orthopedics with a clinical focus in scoliosis, spinal surgery and trauma.

 

His career after he earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo and a fellowship at Boulder’s University of Colorado.

 

He is board certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

 

Dr. France treats several conditions of the spine and joint.
