Spine Surgeon Leader to Know: Dr. Jessica Shellock of Texas Back Institute

Jessica Shellock, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at Texas Back Institute in Plano.

She is a member of several professional societies, including the North American Spine Society, International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery and Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.

 

Throughout her career, Dr. Shellock has engaged in spine-related research and published several articles based on her work. She has also given presentations on topics such as artificial disc replacement and spine surgery re-operations.

 

Dr. Shellock earned her medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Her additional training includes a spine surgery fellowship at Texas Back Institute.
